Arrowhead-TIGER
Introduction

Arrowhead - The Charming Nomad

Arrowhead, also known as T-84, was a notable tigress in Ranthambore National Park, located in the Indian state of Rajasthan. She earned her name due to a distinctive arrowhead-shaped marking on her forehead, which made her easily recognizable and a favorite subject for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.

Arrowhead was born in Ranthambore, and her lineage could be traced back to some of the park's legendary tigers. She inherited the genes of her famous mother, the tigress Machali (T-16), who was often referred to as the "Queen of Ranthambore" and played a pivotal role in the park's history and tiger conservation efforts.

One of Arrowhead's remarkable traits was her ability to adapt to the challenges of her environment. She grew up in a competitive tiger landscape and learned the skills necessary for survival and dominance in Ranthambore. Over time, Arrowhead established her territory within the park, which included prime hunting grounds and suitable areas for raising her cubs

Arrowhead was celebrated not only for her striking appearance but also for her role as a mother. She successfully raised several litters of cubs, contributing significantly to the park's tiger population. Her maternal skills were admired, and her cubs had a higher chance of survival under her care.

Her presence and dominance in Ranthambore were symbolic of the park's success in tiger conservation. Ranthambore has been a focal point for tiger conservation efforts in India, and tigers like Arrowhead represented the positive outcomes of these initiatives. The protection of their habitats and minimizing human-tiger conflicts allowed tigers to thrive and multiply.

Arrowhead's story served as an inspiration for those involved in tiger conservation and those who visited Ranthambore to witness these magnificent creatures in the wild. Her legacy underscored the importance of preserving core tiger habitats and continuing efforts to protect these endangered big cats.
